RareSugar was created in the High Deserts of California for a unique tasting experience.

As a connoisseur of craft beer and cocktails, I was bored by the menus at bars and restaurants. I was always looking for something more, something unique, something spicy. I have traveled many places and all the cocktails I have tried always had missing elements. They were bland and expensive, leaving me wanting more. That's when I began experimenting at home, knowing that I could create something better. I began learning all I could about making rich simple syrups, how to blend ingredients that would be beneficial to the body and create a much longer, stable shelf life. I played with salts and sugars, herbs and spices for years until I finally perfected something I wanted to share. In all my searching for cocktail ingredients, I have not found any as unique as these.

But wait…. there’s more!

While promoting the RareSugar Cocktail Bar line, I realized that I had so much more to offer. I have over 25 years of studying the medicinal benefits of herbs and oils, growing those herbs myself and testing various methods to perfect my own personal blends . For years I have been creating my own herbal infusions, skin and hair care goods, pain management sprays, tinctures and balms that work like magic.

So I took a step back to see how I could bring it all together, that is how RareSugar Apothecary Bar was born. High quality, small batch, artisanal products that really work. Now, there is a little something for everyone from craft cocktail salts and syrups in our Cocktail Bar, to medicinal tea blends in our Remedy Bar, and even a few little magical concoctions in our Bruja Bar. As you explore, please keep in mind that every single product has been made with the intention to bring some type of benefit to the body even if you are indulging in a few cocktails ;).
